PWA Essay
Would you like to go back to the future to see how your ancestors life use to be like compered to your life now? KINDRED the novel we read was of a woman named Dana the main character,who transfers back trough time to save a boy named Rufus when he would be in danger.During this time period many slaves' didn't have rights and wouldn't face their owners,so they would do every thing the owner would tell them to do.Rufus dad,named Tom Weylin who was a slave owner who had two personalty a great one as well as cruel one.Trough out the novel slaves' tried to show resistance by not hitting the slave owners'.On the other hand Tom Weylin tried to oppressed slavery by violating slaves' as well as mistreated them.Dana tried to liberate slaves' from slavery even though she had many obstacles to face.One obstacles Dana had to face was Tom Weylin as well as Rufus.Octavia Butler main massage was ,Follow your own path and don't conform to other people prescriptions.
Octavia Butler wrote about how Rufus conforming to his father prescription caused him to be a cruel person.One quote I would use to back up my thesis was when,"He pushed me back on the pallet,and for a few moments,we lay there still.What was he waiting for?What was I waiting for?He lay with his head on my shoulder,he left arm around me,his right hand was still holding my hand,and slowly,I realized how easy it would be for me to continued to be still and forgive him even this."From page 259 on The Rope.This quote is important because is proving how Rufus is trying to abuse Dana,After Alice was found dead.Even tough Rufus new Dana and help him ,he still tried to abuse her as well as other female slaves'.Similarly,Tom had abuse many salves' trough live.Based on this you understand how he was conforming to some presciptions made by his father.
Based on the novel KINDRED Rufus dad Tom Weylin would violate slaves' in front of Rufus.This would show Rufus to follow the same path as his father.A quote to support this was when,"Weylin ordered the man striped naked and tried to trunk of a dead tree." "Weylin stood whirling his whip and biting his lip." "Weylin had used on Rufus." This quote provides many evidence on what Weylin would do to slaves' but to his son as well.Tom Weylin caused Rufus to turn as violent as him through acting violent to and in front of Rufus.Rufus then beat Dana because she responded back to Rufus in a conversation.This shows what happen when you pay attention to prescriptions.

I read this on page 256 in The Rope.This quote said by Rufus explains how he tried to kill Kevin as well as other people.On the other hand Tom Weylin would kill slaves' for different reasons.even though Rufus hadn't kill people he thought of doing it.However,the slave owners is not a excuse for killing people.I wonder if Tom Weylin would regret of the murder he committed?

Great Great Grandmother
I never got to meet you but i heard many nice things. My sister would tell me you made the best Mole. You would make it sweet ,but a little spice.Every time you would wake up you would make your self dark coffee with sweet bread.You loved wearing pink dresses. She had a pink dress with flowers she love the most. She would greet you with a big hug and a kiss. If i could go back in time i would love to see her in her pink dress and eat her mole. I would love for her to tell me what you loved in life.

From my point of view a consider my self sweet and nice and caring,friendly.I am sweet because I like having fun, also I am never rued to anybody.I am nice because I think of everybody not only me,also I help people with that they need.I may be shy ,however if you get to meet me you would notice I am sweet,friendly, and nice.Sometimes it would take time to show who a really am.Most of my friends are happy people,like me.I consider my self also helpful.I like helping people. I help my sister on the house. I also help my dad or other people on there translating.I go with my mom with whatever she needs. I like helping my brother in law wash his car.Something i really like doing is taking my dog showers and also putting the dog food,because the dog would chase me all around for he could get his food or treat.
Overcoming challenges may be hard or essay.I have persevere many challenges in my life.Sometimes I had to struggle to overcome issues.Once in school when I was in 6 grade I was not doing so good in my grade.I had F in some classes.After that I didn’t pass, that cosed me to go to second chance.I passes that and I wint to 7 grade.Miss Bayardo helped me overcome this .By the end of 7 grade I got my first 4.oo.My parents where so proud of me.I was proud of my self also.I put so much work in to it.I tread hard to get it.I felt smart.Many people helped me,the teachers helped me stay focus in all classes.
The world I come from is messy,not safe.The people don’t care for the earth.There also many people are violent to others.There many gangs only making issues for one color.Many kids one streets looking for something good. Many people looking for a beter life for them or there family.They make it look like every thing is “ok” when from my point of view I don’t see the world perfect.However, there some people who care.Some clean the streets or go to school and tell kids the good things to help the world. My family care for me and my brother and sisters.We like having fun and we make jokes.They support me on school and also in my life. I have the best sister and two brothers that care for me.Owes looking out for me and my family.Proud for all things they done for me.I am going to be honest my family is not the best,but they love me as much I love them.
My life has not been easy.Many issues I had to face when I was small. One issues that I faced that will owes be in my head. When my mom left me and my brother and my sister.I remember every thing like it was all yesterday.I was looking out the window watting for my mom to come form work. She would owes come in at 5pm or at 7pm. My dad was on the room .My sister was on the living room as my brother where in the other room.However, She didn’t come back home.However the day passed and she wasn’t there .On the other hand in order to overcome this issues my dad was there for all his kids.Not only because he would be there , but he had two jobs to make a good amount of money. Another family that help me overcome this issues was the Dawson family. They are so kind to be with us on all issues are family has passed through. Support my family on many things also consider us as there other family know then for many years sins this issue that My sister, I consider her as a mom. She was there for me when I needed someone, my only sister sometimes I won’t show it to her but I love her.Even though my mom left with another man, I am proud I see her and stay with her.She has don many thing for me in my life.Sometimes I would get mad ,but I still feel something I can discride.
